Ana, Luis and Diego: two months of uncertainty and impunity

The young activists were abducted after having conducted a cultural workshop for children in the town Paracho, state Michoacán.

“They were delegated to Paracho by the company KidScience, hired by the State Council for Science, Technology and Innovation, to develop a workshop during the seventh International Balloon Festival Cantoya. They arrived at night on Wednesday, July 18. They stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe and worked with children on 19, 20 and 21. On Saturday evening they were on the rainy opening of the festival, and at night would have gone to a bar in the same hotel where the unpleasant conflict occurred,” reported Martin Equihua for La Jornada Michoacán, on 12 September 2012.

So far there has been no communication from the kidnappers and the authority has not made ​​substantial progress in the investigation.
The Citizens Movement party dismissed political motives for the kidnapping of activists.

Delivered messages of solidarity and inquiries tagged on Twitter #AnaLuisyDiego demanding the immediate safe return of missed persons.
