Ana Belen Sanchez Mayorga (30)

Psychologist (University del Valle graduate). Ana grew up in a Catholic family in Mexico. She is very fond of contemporary literature. Having overcome bulimia and anorexia in 2006, she decided to study psychology in order to help young people dealing with similar issues. She works primarily with children. She continues to create and expand her goals and intends to keep working with young people.
She was abducted from the Hotel Santa Fe, in Paracho, Michoacan on the 21st of July 2012 after giving a workshop for children.

Diego Antonio Maldonado (34)

Mexico native, psychologist, and University del Valle graduate. He works mainly in schools with children and teenagers. He often volunteers for school non-violence programs. He has also participated in programs promoting scientific activities in schools across the country. He is a person who has big plans for the future. He dedicates himself to serving the country, maintain its prosperity and further development.
He was abducted from the Hotel Santa Fe, in Paracho, Michoacan on the 21st of July 2012 after the Cantoya balloon festival.

Luis Enrique Castaneda (30)

Public Relations specialist in the cultural sphere. He has been working with “Movimiento Ciudadano” (citizen’s social movement) for six years. He is a youth coordinator for the party in Plalpane. An active participant of the scientific circle “The progressive ideas” and engaged in student life at the University of Mexico. He is young man who devotes himself to family and community, is a diligent worker and student, and a pacifist.
He was abducted from the Hotel Santa Fe, in Paracho, Michoacan on the 21st of July 2012 after giving a workshop for children.
